Race results

The United States Grand Prix began with Norris passing polesitter Leclerc into turn 1 and leading the early phase. Leclerc struggled for race pace, while Verstappen climbed steadily from sixth. Through the middle phase Verstappen used strategy and superior race pace to close on Norris, then moved into the lead late in the race. Hamilton also charged strongly, but Verstappen held on despite brake concerns. After the race, Hamilton and Leclerc were disqualified for excessive skid-block wear, making the final podium Verstappen, Norris and Sainz. Yuki Tsunoda was promoted to eighth and also set the fastest lap.
