Guanyu Zhou

Zhou Guanyu is a Chinese driver who became China’s first full-time Formula 1 racer when he debuted with Alfa Romeo in 2022. He scored points on debut and immediately became a major figure for Chinese fans. Racing alongside Valtteri Bottas, Zhou built his reputation through steady learning, clean execution and a calm approach rather than flamboyance. His huge accident at the 2022 British Grand Prix also became an important reminder of the Halo’s safety value, as he escaped without serious injury.
