Race results

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix began with polesitter Verstappen holding the lead and controlling the early phase ahead of Leclerc. Yuki Tsunoda led briefly during the pit cycle, becoming a rare Japanese lap leader in a Formula One race. Through the middle and late stages Verstappen steadily extended his advantage, while Leclerc, Russell, Pérez and the McLarens fought over the podium and Constructors' Championship positions. Pérez missed the podium after a five-second penalty for contact, allowing Russell to secure third. Verstappen ended the season with victory and fastest lap, completing a record 19-win campaign. Mercedes held off Ferrari for second in the Constructors' Championship.
