Race results

The Belgian Grand Prix began with polesitter Leclerc holding the lead, but Hamilton moved ahead in the early phase and took control. Through the middle of the race, the Mercedes pair, Piastri, Leclerc and Verstappen converged on different tyre strategies, with Russell committing to a one-stop plan. Hamilton chased Russell late on after making two stops, while Piastri also closed toward the podium fight, but Russell crossed the line first on worn tyres. After the race, however, Russell was disqualified because his car was under the minimum weight. Hamilton was promoted to victory, Piastri to second and Leclerc to third. Verstappen recovered from 11th on the grid to fourth.
