Through the middle phase Hamilton charged from tenth on the grid, using strong pace and strategy to climb to second. Russell kept the race under control and won without major pressure. Hamilton completed a Mercedes one-two, Sainz finished third and Leclerc fourth. Verstappen came home fifth ahead of Norris, securing his fourth consecutive Drivers' Championship.
