Race results

The São Paulo Grand Prix began on a wet track, with Norris and Russell fighting at the front in the early laps. Verstappen, starting 17th, began a rapid recovery as changing rain, safety-car periods and a red flag reshaped the race. When Colapinto crashed and the race was stopped, Ocon and Verstappen gained significantly by staying out. After the restart, Verstappen passed Ocon for the lead and then drove away in the difficult conditions. Norris lost ground through mistakes and strategy, while Alpine held a remarkable podium position. Verstappen won from 17th on the grid, taking a decisive victory in the title fight. Ocon finished second and Gasly third, giving Alpine a double podium.
