Race results

The Miami Grand Prix began with polesitter Max Verstappen locking up at turn 1 during his fight with Lando Norris, which shifted momentum toward McLaren. In the opening phase Oscar Piastri took control at the front, while Norris lost ground but quickly repassed Verstappen. Mid-race, Oliver Bearman's engine failure brought out the virtual safety car, allowing George Russell to benefit from pit timing and keep third. After the restart, Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz also made progress, but Piastri stayed composed at the front. McLaren controlled the closing stages, with Piastri winning ahead of Norris for a one-two, and Russell completing the podium.
