Race results

The Japanese Grand Prix began with polesitter Max Verstappen holding the lead, while McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri stayed close behind. The top three remained tightly grouped from the opening phase, and with overtaking difficult at Suzuka, pit timing became a key factor. In the middle phase Verstappen and Norris came close at pit exit, but no penalty followed. Norris and Piastri kept applying pressure in the final stint, yet Verstappen made no major mistake and held on. He took a fourth consecutive Japanese Grand Prix victory, with Norris second and Piastri third. Kimi Antonelli also set records as the youngest driver to lead a lap and record a fastest lap in Formula One.
