Race results

The Chinese Grand Prix began with polesitter Oscar Piastri holding the lead, while Lando Norris moved into second to put McLaren in control from the opening phase. Behind them, contact between the Ferrari drivers damaged Charles Leclerc's front wing, adding early drama. Through the middle stint Piastri managed the gap with composed pace, while Norris protected second despite a worsening brake issue. McLaren stayed in control to the finish and recorded the team's 50th one-two in Formula One. Piastri won ahead of Norris and George Russell, before post-race disqualifications for Lewis Hamilton, Leclerc and Pierre Gasly reshaped the final classification.
