FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Red Bull Ring

Spielberg, Austria

Race results

The Austrian Grand Prix started after Carlos Sainz was unable to get away during the formation procedure, shortening the race distance. Polesitter Norris covered Leclerc into turn 1, while Piastri swept around the outside to take second. Early on, Kimi Antonelli locked up and collided with Max Verstappen, eliminating both cars and bringing out the safety car. After the restart McLaren controlled the race, with Piastri repeatedly pressuring Norris but unable to make a move stick. Ferrari held third and fourth through the middle phase, while Norris managed the gap and strategy at the front. Norris won ahead of Piastri and Leclerc, and Gabriel Bortoleto scored his first Formula One points in eighth.
