Race results

The Mexico City Grand Prix started with Norris launching well from pole, but turn 1 became a four-car fight involving Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton and Verstappen, with Verstappen forced onto the grass. Leclerc briefly took the lead but had to return the position after cutting the track, while Hamilton later received a 10-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage during his fight with Verstappen. Bearman took advantage of the early chaos to move into fourth. Through the middle phase Norris built a commanding lead, while Verstappen chased Leclerc for second. A late virtual safety car caused by Sainz prevented a final attack. Norris won by a large margin and took the championship lead, ahead of Leclerc and Verstappen, with Bearman fourth for Haas.
