Race results

The São Paulo Grand Prix began with Norris holding the lead into the Senna S, while home driver Bortoleto retired after contact, bringing out an early safety car. After the restart, Piastri locked up into Antonelli and was sent into Leclerc, earning a 10-second penalty while Leclerc retired. Verstappen started from the pit lane and then suffered an early puncture, but recovered strongly through the middle phase. By the closing laps he passed Russell for third and put pressure on Antonelli. Norris controlled the race throughout and won on a dry afternoon, with Antonelli second for his best result at the time and Verstappen third. The result significantly extended Norris's championship lead.
