The Canadian Grand Prix opened with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli fighting for control from the front row. Russell initially tried to hold command, but a battery-related problem in the middle phase dropped him out of contention and eventually forced his retirement. Antonelli inherited the lead and then controlled the race with consistent pace. Behind him, Lewis Hamilton protected second, while Max Verstappen pushed into podium contention. In the closing stages Antonelli kept the lead secure and took a fourth consecutive victory. Hamilton finished second, and Verstappen claimed third to give Red Bull its first podium of the season.
