Race results

The Spanish Grand Prix began with polesitter Oscar Piastri holding the lead, while Lando Norris lost out to Max Verstappen at the start. Verstappen used an early soft-tyre stop to attack the McLarens and briefly gained strategic momentum. Through the middle phase Piastri and Norris managed a two-stop race, while Verstappen leaned toward a more aggressive three-stop approach. On lap 55 Kimi Antonelli's engine failure triggered the safety car and reset the closing stages. Verstappen, forced onto hard tyres, struggled at the restart and later received a 10-second penalty after contact with George Russell, dropping to tenth. Piastri won ahead of Norris, completing a McLaren one-two, with Charles Leclerc third.
