Red Bull
Oracle Red Bull Racing
Red Bull Racing entered Formula 1 in 2005 after Red Bull bought Jaguar’s team. What began as an energy drink brand’s bold marketing project quickly became one of the sport’s most serious competitive organisations. Based in Milton Keynes, the team built its identity around aggressive branding, strong driver development and technical excellence led for many years by Adrian Newey. Red Bull first dominated with Sebastian Vettel, winning four consecutive Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships from 2010 to 2013. After the hybrid-era reset, the team rebuilt around Honda power and Max Verstappen, returning to championship success in 2021 and then establishing another dominant period. Its success has often combined aerodynamic strength, decisive strategy and a willingness to make bold driver decisions. Today, Red Bull is one of Formula 1’s defining modern teams. It changed expectations of what a non-traditional manufacturer-backed entrant could achieve and created a full racing ecosystem through junior teams and driver programmes. Its legacy is no longer just disruptive branding; it is a record of sustained championship-winning performance.
