Heinz-Harald Frentzen

Overview

Heinz-Harald Frentzen is a German driver whose final Formula 1 years came with Jordan, Prost, Arrows and Sauber in the early 2000s. A serious title contender with Jordan in 1999, he was known for smooth, intelligent driving rather than flamboyance. The 2000s brought frequent team changes and difficult financial circumstances, but Frentzen continued to show experience and speed when opportunities allowed. He left F1 after the 2003 season with Sauber. His career is remembered for technical skill, calm execution and the sense that, in the right car, he could be genuinely formidable.
