Russell leads Barcelona GP first practice for Mercedes

Autosport reports that Mercedes driver George Russell set the pace in first practice for the Barcelona Grand Prix.

Russell's best lap of 1m16.363s put him ahead of McLaren's Oscar Piastri by around two tenths. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was third after the Scuderia introduced a heavily upgraded SF-26 package for the weekend, with Max Verstappen and another McLaren entry following in the order.
