Leclerc leads Ferrari 1-2 in Monaco FP1

Charles Leclerc set the pace in opening practice for the Monaco Grand Prix, putting Ferrari first and second at a circuit expected to suit the SF-26. Leclerc lapped in 1m13.978s, 0.226s clear of team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

The session also brought trouble elsewhere, with Isack Hadjar crashing for Red Bull and Fernando Alonso also suffering an incident as teams began building confidence around Monaco's street circuit.
