Christian Klien

Christian Klien is an Austrian driver who debuted with Jaguar in 2004 and then became part of Red Bull Racing’s early Formula 1 years. As a young driver he was expected to show speed, and alongside David Coulthard he helped the newly branded Red Bull team establish itself. He scored points in 2005 and gained experience during the team’s formative period, but lost his seat during 2006 amid internal competition. Klien did not achieve major success, yet he was present at an important transitional moment as Jaguar became Red Bull.
