Anthony Davidson

Overview

Anthony Davidson is a British driver highly regarded for his testing and development work with BAR and Honda. He made substitute appearances for Minardi in 2002 before racing full-time for Super Aguri in 2007 and 2008. Results were heavily limited by team resources and car performance, but Davidson’s technical understanding and feedback were valued throughout the Honda-linked organisation. After F1 he built a strong endurance-racing career and became a respected commentator. His contribution to 2000s Formula 1 is better measured through development, analysis and professionalism than through race results alone.
