Adrian Sutil

Adrian Sutil is a German driver who debuted with Spyker in 2007 and continued as the team became Force India. Starting in backmarker machinery, he showed speed in wet and difficult conditions, scoring a valuable point at the 2007 Japanese Grand Prix. By 2009, as Force India improved, Sutil was able to fight higher up the grid and finished fourth at the Italian Grand Prix. He was known for sharp qualifying potential and persistence in tricky races. By the end of the 2000s, he had become one of the more credible midfield performers.
