Jos Verstappen

Jos Verstappen is a Dutch driver who raced for Arrows and Minardi in the early 2000s. Earlier in his career he had scored podiums with Benetton and was known for raw speed, but by the 2000s he was mostly driving for lower-grid teams. At Arrows he produced occasional strong performances, and at Minardi in 2003 he brought experience to a small organisation. His style was aggressive and sometimes rough, but always combative. Verstappen helped sustain Dutch interest in Formula 1 and later became widely known as the father of Max Verstappen.
