Red Bull surprised by Antonelli's Monaco-winning pace

Autosport reports that Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies was surprised by Kimi Antonelli's pace during the Monaco Grand Prix. Antonelli dominated from pole to become the youngest grand slam winner in Formula 1 history, while Max Verstappen's race unravelled almost immediately after starting alongside him on the front row.

Mekies said Antonelli's pace was serious, underlining how convincing the Mercedes driver's performance had been in Monte Carlo.
