Nelson Piquet Jr.

Nelson Piquet Jr. is a Brazilian driver and the son of three-time world champion Nelson Piquet. He debuted with Renault in 2008 under the heavy pressure of both his name and comparison with Fernando Alonso. Results were difficult, though he finished second at the 2008 German Grand Prix. He lost his seat during 2009, and the later revelation of the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix Crashgate scandal severely damaged his F1 legacy. After leaving Formula 1, Piquet rebuilt his career and became the first Formula E champion, showing ability in a different environment.
