Lucas di Grassi

Lucas di Grassi is a Brazilian driver who made his Formula 1 debut with Virgin in 2010. The new team’s car was uncompetitive, making meaningful results difficult, but the experience formed part of a much broader racing career. After leaving F1, di Grassi became one of Formula E’s most important figures, winning races and a championship while helping shape the identity of electric single-seater racing. Known for technical intelligence and a forward-looking approach, his influence in motorsport is far greater than his short Grand Prix record suggests.
