Antônio Pizzonia
Overview
Antônio Pizzonia is a Brazilian driver who debuted with Jaguar in 2003. He was highly regarded as a Williams test driver and made several substitute appearances for the team. At Jaguar he struggled against Mark Webber, but at Williams he performed solidly when called upon, scoring points as an injury replacement. He never secured a lasting full-time Formula 1 seat, yet he was valued for testing ability and for stepping into competitive machinery when required. Pizzonia was one of several Brazilian prospects active in the middle of the 2000s.
