Spyker MF1

Spyker MF1 was the transitional identity used as Midland became Spyker late in 2006. Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro continued to drive for a team that largely retained Midland’s structure and limited competitiveness. Points were out of reach, and the car remained near the back of the grid, but the name matters as part of the chain from Jordan to Midland, Spyker and eventually Force India. Spyker MF1 was not a long-term project but a brief marker in the rapid rebranding of a small Formula 1 entry.
