Pedro Diniz

Pedro Diniz is a Brazilian driver whose final Formula 1 season came with Sauber in 2000. Although often associated with strong sponsorship support during the 1990s, he developed into a more solid racer than early perceptions suggested. At Sauber he partnered Mika Salo and fought in the lower midfield with limited machinery. Major results were out of reach, but Diniz was part of an era with a strong Brazilian presence on the grid.
