Jules Bianchi

Overview

Jules Bianchi was a French Ferrari junior regarded as one of the brightest prospects of his generation. He debuted with Marussia in 2013 and quickly showed speed well beyond the competitiveness of the car. His ninth place at the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix gave the team its historic first points and underlined why many saw him as a future Ferrari candidate. Bianchi suffered severe injuries in an accident at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix and died the following year. His career was tragically short, but his talent, character and the safety lessons that followed left a lasting mark on Formula 1.
