Jérôme d'Ambrosio

Jérôme d’Ambrosio is a Belgian driver who raced full-time for Virgin in 2011. Results were difficult in a new and uncompetitive team, but he gained valuable Grand Prix experience and later returned for a one-off Lotus appearance at the 2012 Italian Grand Prix, replacing the suspended Romain Grosjean. After F1, d’Ambrosio found success in Formula E, including race victories, and later moved into team management and driver-development roles.
