Gastón Mazzacane

Gastón Mazzacane is an Argentine driver who raced for Minardi in 2000 and Prost in 2001. Most of his Formula 1 experience came in lower-grid machinery, leaving little chance to fight for points. One memorable moment came at the 2000 United States Grand Prix, where he briefly held off Mika Häkkinen. At Prost, financial problems and performance issues contributed to him losing his seat during the season. His F1 record was limited, but he remains one of the few Argentine drivers to appear on the Grand Prix grid in the early 2000s.
