Enrique Bernoldi

Enrique Bernoldi is a Brazilian driver who raced for Arrows in 2001 and 2002. Backed by Red Bull early in his career, he arrived as a young prospect and gained experience in lower-midfield machinery alongside Jos Verstappen. His most famous moment came at the 2001 Monaco Grand Prix, where he held up David Coulthard for many laps and demonstrated stubborn defensive ability on a circuit where overtaking was extremely difficult. Arrows’ financial collapse shortened his F1 career, but Bernoldi remains remembered for resilience and one of the more memorable defensive drives of the early 2000s.
