Pascal Wehrlein

Pascal Wehrlein is a German driver and Mercedes junior who debuted with Manor in 2016 after becoming DTM champion. He was highly rated and scored a valuable point in uncompetitive machinery. In 2017 he moved to Sauber and again delivered some of the team’s rare points, but he could not secure a long-term F1 seat. Wehrlein’s speed and technical ability were clear, yet his career was shaped by team politics, timing and limited opportunities. After Formula 1 he became a major figure in Formula E with Porsche, proving his quality in a different top-level championship.
