Gianmaria Bruni

Gianmaria Bruni is an Italian driver who raced for Minardi in 2004. The team faced severe financial and competitive limitations, giving him little chance to achieve visible results, but he gained valuable Grand Prix experience as a young driver. His F1 career lasted only one season, yet his later career in GT and endurance racing was highly successful. As a Ferrari-linked sports-car driver, Bruni became widely respected for pace, consistency and race craft. He is a strong example of a driver whose ability was far better demonstrated outside Formula 1 than in an uncompetitive F1 seat.
